About the Role:
Due to our continued success and expansion, we are on the lookout for a Mortgage Broker Trainee. This role is a great opportunity for someone wanting to build a long-term successful career as a Mortgage and Finance Broker where you can make a positive difference to people’s lives every day. Experience in finance and/or banking is not a requirement. For this role we will consider attitude and culture fit over prior experience. Whether you are seeking full-time or part-time employment (minimum 30 hours per week), we offer flexible working hours tailored for the right candidate.
As a trainee, you will learn how to:
- Assess and calculate client borrowing capacities
- Review living expenses and liabilities
- Evaluate lender and product options
- Problem-solve challenging situations
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences with professional advice
- Manage compliance to best practice standards
- Prepare and finalise successful loan applications
- Advise and Coach clients to achieve their financial goals and dreams.
You will be mentored by our award-winning brokers and not only learn how to be a market leading Mortgage broker but will also gain insights into effective property investing and money management to apply to your own life. Whilst you are undertaking study to gain a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking, you will supporting our mortgage broking team learning all the skills and knowledge to set you up for success when you transition to becoming a Mortgage Broker.

- An understanding of the loan application process and Experience in Banking and/or loan processing and/or credit assessment will be highly regarded but is not essential.
- A personal interest and passion for money management, real estate and/or property investing will be a big advantage and extremely highly regarded.
