What are commercial loans and how do they work?
Commercial Loans are similar to Property Investment Loans but instead of being secured by a residential property, they are secured by a commercial property.
They can have Interest Only or Principle and Interest repayments and fixed and variable rate options.
Generally, lenders prefer borrowers to contribute a higher deposit when buying commercial property (when compared to residential property) but we have a number of lenders on the Rise High panel who are comfortable providing funding up to 80% (and in some cases even higher) of the value of the Commercial Property.
You can often attract lower interest rates if you are happy with a shorter loan term but we also have access to commercial loan products that allow for terms of up to 30 years.
