The Client

Our client was an older single mum with a small child.  She came to us needing help.  She had experienced some financial difficulties with her ex-partner.  They had split up and had a business together.  So, when they split, she was left with half the debt. When she came to us her home loan had a high-interest rate, mostly due to the debt that she’d accumulated with her ex.

The Process

We sat down with her and had a long meeting just laying out her current situation. Long story short, we were able to refinance her home loan at a much lower interest rate. Approximately three per cent per annum less than she had been paying.

This saved our client thousands of dollars per year in repayments which took a huge burden off her shoulders and made a real difference.

Being a single parent can be tough financially and having the burden and stress of things that have come out of separation makes it even harder.  When you are a single parent and the budget is tight, every dollar makes a difference. So being able to save our client hundreds of dollars per month, overjoyed her and really took the pressure off.

It freed up her income. She now has the choice whether she wants to put the extra savings on to her home loan to pay it off quicker or just have more cashflow that she can use in raising her child.

This is just one example of how we can help.
